Peak 38 Mt. Peak 38 is located just above to the Island Peak. A fantastic and beautiful Mountain of Khumbu valley and lies range of Mt. Lhotse. The 800km stretch of the Nepal Himalaya is the greatest in the world with eight peaks that rise above 8,000m including the highest in the world, Mt. Everest ever since the country opened its peaks to climbers in 1949, the Nepal Himalaya has become a great theater of mountaineering activity and the drama of success and failure have provided impetus to thousands of men and women to meet the ultimate challenge. The Nepal Himalaya has been an attraction to many people, be they saints, philosophers, researchers or, adventurers.
 
Early in the morning we transfer to the domestic airport where you will fly to Lukla and Fly out by plan to Kathmandu. It happened to look many times at this mountain and was surprised of its incredible beauty. It in fact looks as a majestic white triangle hidden behind Island Peak (Imja Tse). Several routes are possible. The approach it not very difficult but it will take a few more days to reach base camp.

Season: Winter, Spring & Autumn

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Free in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Official works for expedition and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.
Day 04: Kathmandu – Lukla by flight then trek to Phakding (2640m).
Day 05: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3446 m).
Day 06: Rest day for acclimatization, explore Everest view Hotel & rest.
Day 07: Namche – Thyangboche Monastery (3867m).
Day 08: Thyangboche – Dingboche (4347m).
Day 09: Dingboche – Island Peak Base Camp (4900m). (Imja Tse Base Camp)
Day 10: Island Peak BC – Peak 38 Base Camp (5190m).
Day 11 – 26: Climbing Period for Peak 38.
Day 27: Cleaning Base Camp and preparation.
Day 28: Base Camp – Dingboche.
Day 29: Dingboche – Thyangboche.
Day 30: Thyangboche – Namche Bazaar. 
Day 31: Namche Bazaar – Phakding
Day 32: Phakding – Lukla then transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 33: Early flight back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 34: Free in Kathmandu.
Day 35: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Service includes:

  • All land transportation: Airport /Hotel/Airport, trekking, expedition pick up & drop.
  • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itinerary.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff and Liaison Officer.
  • Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
  • Peak permit fee.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs and tables at the base camp.
  • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
  • Base camp tents for members and staff.
  • Per Person 50 KG. Equipment’s luggage / barrels allowed till to Base Camp.
  • Equipment allowance, wages and insurance for base camp staff and Liaison Officer.
  • Airfare: KTM / Lukla / Kathmandu with airport tax & cargo fees.
  • National Park Conservation Fee.
  • Visa extension.
  • Satellite phone (Pay calls).
  • Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator.
  • Helicopter rescue insurance for Nepalese staff.

Service does not include:

  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Airfare from / to your country.
  • Nepal entry visa fee. (Can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Hotel after 5 nights stay in Kathmandu.
  • Service above Base Camp.
  • Drinks except tea and coffee.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
  • Walki -Takie permit & Satellite phone permit.
  • Climbing Guide (Sherpa).
  • Oxygen & Mask -regulator for climbing.
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical and emergency evacuation.
  • Nepal custom duty for import of expedition goods arriving to Nepal by air or road.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone, etc.
  • International airport departure tax & tourist tax.
  • Tips and climbing bonus.
  • Garbage deposit US $ 2000.00 for a team. After expedition deposit will be refundable.
