Mt. Nojin Kangsang ExpeditionMt. Nojin Kangsang is one of the excellent peaks in Tibet/Lhasa. This is not the technical expedition in comparison with other expeditions in Tibet. This mountain located in between Zhangmu and Lhasa of Tibet. The base camp located in the eastern ridge of Nojing Khangsantg Beyond Nojing Khangsantang base camp. Nojin Kangsang was fist climbed on April 28, 1986 by a Chinese – Tibetan mountaineering team, the following is the trip itinerary which is starts from Zhangmu and ends in Lhasa. We welcome you to join with our trip to Tibet.

Expedition Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m.) airport, meet our staff, then transfer to Hotel.

Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Free day in Kathmandu.

Day 04: Preparation for expedition and official trip briefing.

Day 05: Drive to Kodari and transfer to Zhangmu 2300m. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Zhangmu – Tingri (4250m), by drive then transfer to Hotel.

Day 07: Tingri – Shigatse (3900m). by drive then transfer to Hotel.

Day 08: Shigatse – Base Camp. Tented Camp

Day 09: At the Base Camp. Tented Camp

Day 10: Base Camp to ABC. Tented Camp

Day 11 – 27: Climbing period of Nojin Kangsang. Tented Camp

Day 28: BC – Gyanse (3600m). by drive then transfer to Hotel.

Day 30: Gyanse – Lhasa. by drive then transfer to Hotel.

Day 31: Lhasa – City Sightseeing by vehicle and over night at Hotel.

Day 32: Lhasa – City Sightseeing by vehicle and over night at Hotel.

Day 33: Drive to Gonger airport for Fly to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 34: Kathmandu Free.

Day 35: Last minute transfer to airport for onward journey.

 

Expedition Cost in group joining basis; (Minimum 5 person required in group) 

 

Expedition cost up to Advance Base Camp: US $ 6,999 Per Person

High Altitude Sherpa: US $ 3,900 (If required)

  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp. 

 

Expedition Cost Includes:

  • All land transportation by private vehicle, (Airport /Hotel/Airport & expedition pick up & drop).
  • Accommodation in Kathmandu at 3 star Hotel for 6 nights (BB plan).
  • Tibet visa fee.
  • Road permit and travel permit.
  • Expedition Permit fee of Mt. Nojin Kangsang.
  • Transportation as per program/itinerary.
  • Accommodation in Tibet on full board basis (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
  • Service of Liaison officer and interpreter.
  • Nepalese Sherpa cook and kitchen boy at BC and ABC.
  • Entry fee of Kitchen staffs.
  • Guided Sightseeing in Lhasa.
  • Air ticket: Kathmandu – Lhasa - Kathmandu (Gongar airport one way).
  • Equipment allowances and daily salary of kitchen staffs, Liaison officer and interpreter.
  • Insurance of kitchen staffs, Liaison officer and interpreter.
  • Food and fuel at base camp and advance base camp.
  • Kitchen tent, dining tent, store tent, shower tent, toilet tents, chair, table at BC and ABC.
  • Single sleeping tent and mattress at BC and ABC.
  • Per Person 50 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or barrels allowed for expedition till Advance Base Camp.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Expedition equipment’s luggage or barrels is allowed for returned to Kathmandu.
  • Transfer of all expedition goods and equipment’s to BC and back.
  • 2 Expedition duffel bag for each member.
  • Generator or Solar panel at Advance Base Camp for light and charging.
  • Emergency Oxygen Mask & regulator at advance base camp (for medical use).
  • Garbage deposit fee.
  • Medical Kit Box for Nepalese crew’s and simple medical service for members till ABC.
  • Agency Service charge.

 

Expedition Cost Doesn’t Include:

  • Airfare: To & from your country.
  • International airport departure tax.
  • Nepal entry & Re-entry visa fee (can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu.
  • All Drinks except tea and coffee.
  • Hotel after 6 night stay in Kathmandu.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
  • Tents above advance base camp.
  • High altitude food and fuel above base camp.
  • Oxygen & Mask and regulator (available on request).
  • Personal local transportation in Kathmandu and Tibet except above mentioned programs.
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical, emergency evacuation and lost luggage.
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, communication equipment and commercial filming.
  • Porters and transportation in case of natural calamity.
  • Nepal custom duty charges for import of expedition goods.
  • Extra yaks if required.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as drinks, laundry, postage, telephone etc.
  • Tips and bonuses for staff.

 

Expedition cost up to Summit: US $ 13,600 Per Person
