Mt. Manaslu Advance Base CampMount Manaslu is lies in the western part of Nepal, north side of Gorkha district along the Kali Gandaki valley. This mountain was previously known as Kutan l. 'tang' being the Tibetan word for flat place, thereby describing the mountain's general summit. It was then renamed Manaslu which comes from the Sanskrit word "Manasa" meaning "intellect" or "soul". It was first climbed by Mr. Tashio. Imanishi of Japan on May 09, 1956 via North East Face route. There exist half a dozen different routes on Manaslu today. The south face of this ‘Mountain of intellect’ is arguably the toughest in climbing history as well as peak 29 is very famous located in this area too.

 

Nowadays the climbers attracted to climb this beautiful mountain and from summit you can see many mountains of Annapurna and Ganesh Himal range as well as Tibetan dry land.

Season: Spring, Autumn & Winter

 

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu free.

Day 03: Official works for expedition and briefing by officer of Ministry of Tourism.

Day 04: Drive to Gorkha 1060m. then transfer to Tented Camp.

Day 05: Gorkha – Khanchowk 1000m.

Day 06: Khanchowk – Aurghat Bazaar 576m.

Day 07: Arughat Bazaar – Soti Khola 760m.

Day 08: Soti Khola – Machha Khola 820m.

Day 09: Machha Khola – Jagat 1360m.

Day 10: Jagat – Chumet 1670m.

Day 11: Chumet – Namrung 2550.

Day 12: Namrung – Sama Gompa 3360m.

Day 13: Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 14: Sama Gompa – High Camp 4700m. set up and preparation.

Day 15-29: Climbing period of Manaslu 8163 meter.

Day 30: Clean up base Camp & backpack.

Day 31: Trek back to Samdo Village 3780m.

Day 32: Trek to Larke-La 5220m. Pass.

Day 33: Larke-La Pass – Bimtang 3630m.

Day 34: Bhimtang – Tilje 1930m.

Day 35: Tilje – Tal 1680m.

Day 36: Tal – Syange1060m.

Day 37: Syange – Khudi 790m.

Day 38: Drive to Kathmandu by Bus then transfer to Hotel.

Day 39: Kathmandu free.

Day 40: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.

Day 04: Drive to Arughat Bazaar 576m. by reserve Bus then Overnight at tented camp.

Day 05: Arughat – Sotikhola.

Day 06: Soti Khola – Machha Khola 1300m.

Day 07: Machha Khola – Jagat 1350m.

Day 08: Jagat – Ukawa.

Day 09: Ukawa – Ngyak 2300m.

Day 10: Nyak – Namrung 2550m.

Day 11: Namrung – Lho/Syalla village 3190m.

Day 12: Syalla – Sama Gompa 3780m.

Day 13: Rest day for acclimatization.

Day 14: Sama Village – Manaslu Base camp 4700m.

Day 15- 37: Climbing Period for Manaslu 8,163m.

Day 38: Reserve day for backpack.

Day 39: Trek back to Sama Gompa.

Day 40: Sama – Namrung.

Day 41: Namrung – Philim village.

Day 42: Filim – Machakhola.

Day 43: Macha Khola – Soti.

Day 44: Soti – Arughat Bazar.

Day 45: Arughat – enter Dhading & drive back to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.

Day 46: Kathmandu free.

Day 47: Kathmandu free.

Day 48: Last minute, transfer to airport for onward journey.

  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp. 
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 2600. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

Note: We suggest our every climber to hire the Heli Copter Charter for transport the whole gears needed for expedition from Kathmandu/ Sama Gompa/ Kathmandu due to the caravan trail start from Gorkha and Dhading.
