Dorje LhakpaMt. Dorje Lakpa is located at the solid mass of Jugal Himal in Nepal, east side of Langtang Valley and south of Mt. Shishapangma and Tibet border. The normal route for the Dorje Lakpa peak is described that it is a good technique in ice is essential and we envisage placing fix ropes in the favorable places, which will help climbing team to achieve their goal over mountain.


Dorje Lakpa Base CampDorje Lakpa Camp (i) will be at an altitude 5,400m. and is well sheltered. Camp (ii) will be at an altitude 6,100m. which does not exceed latitude and longitude 40º to 45º and is nicely visible from the Base Camp. As per the condition of the climate during climbing, we may place a safety camp between summit and Camp (ii). After finishing the climbing days we disassemble the high camp and return to Kathmandu by the same route as we heading before from Syabru Besi.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, meet our staff then transfers to Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free.
Day 03: Official work for expedition & briefing at Ministry of Tourism.
Day 04: Drive Syabrubesi 1462m. then transfer to Camp.
Day 05: Trek to Lama Hotel.
Day 06: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village.
Day 07: Langtang village – Kyangjin Gompa.
Day 08: Kyangjing Gompa – Langshisa Kharka.
Day 09: Langshisa Kharka – Lakpa Dorje Base Camp.
Day 10 – 27: Climbing Period of Lakpa Dorje (6,966m.).
Day 28: Trek back to – Kharka.
Day 29: Kharka – Langtang Village.
Day 30: Langtang Village – Lama Hotel.
Day 31: Lama Hotel – Syabrubesi and transfer to Teahouse Lodge.
Day 32: Drive to Kathmandu then transfer to Hotel.
Day 33: Kathmandu free.
Day 34: Last minute, transfer to airport for your onward journey.
 

Expedition Cost:

Service up to Base Camp on group joining basis: USD    Per Person.

  • Above given cost does not include the climbing Sherpa’s food & fuel, tents, climbing gears and summit bonus above advance base camp.
  • Hiring a high altitude Sherpa does cost USD 2300. This cost includes equipment allowances, daily wages, food and fuel up to base camp, insurance, flight to and from Kathmandu, sleeping tents at BC etc…

 

Expedition Service includes:

  • All land transportation by Car, Van, Hiace or, tourist Bus (Airport/Hotel/Airport, expedition pick up & drop).
  • 5 Nights Accommodation in Kathmandu at a tourist class Hotel on bed & breakfast plan as per given itineraries.
  • Transport as per itinerary for members, staff & Liaison Officer.
  • Transportation of all food and climbing equipments to base camp and back.
  • Peak permit fee.
  • Full board basis during the trekking.
  • All kitchen equipments; kitchen tent, dining tent, toilet tent, shower tent, chairs & tables at BC.
  • Cook and Kitchen boys at the base camp.
  • Base camp tents for members and staff.
  • Per Person 40 KG. Equipment’s luggage, barrels allowed till to BC.
  • Equipment allowance, wages, insurance for BC staff & Liaison officer.
  • Visa extension.
  • National Park Conservation Fee.
  • Satellite phone (Pay calls).
  • Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator.
  • Helicopter rescue insurance for Nepalese staff.
  • Agency service charges.

 

Service does not include:

  • Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu.
  • Airfare from/to your country.
  • Nepal entry visa fee. (Can be obtained at the airport upon arrival).
  • Hotel after 6 nights stay in Kathmandu.
  • Service above Base Camp.
  • Drinks except tea and coffee.
  • Personal climbing gear and equipment above base camp.
  • Applicable permit fees and customs charges, etc. for SAT phone, Walkie-Talkies, Communication equipment & commercial filming.
  • Oxygen & Mask -regulator for climbing.
  • Climbing guide (Sherpa).
  • Personal insurance such as travel, accident, medical and emergency evacuation.
  • Nepal custom duty for import of expedition goods arriving to Nepal by air or road.

  • International airport departure tax & tourist tax.
