Kumar Bahadur Karki
Hello Everyone, Namaste! I am Kumar Bahadur Karki having 18 year of experience in the field of trekking and expedition,  I am acting as  a  Managing Director, mountaineering guide as well as team leader for the Cultural Treks & Expedition. I started to work in this industry  as a porter in 1992 and  from 1995 I  become a trekking guide and trekking sirdar. During this time as a mountaineering guide, I have gathered extensive knowledge of the mountains in Nepal.  I ensure all of my guests get a reliable and pleasant service.

 

D. B. Chhetree (Santosh-Karki)
One of the most well–known and respected people at Cultural Treks (Executive Director), Santosh is also a trekking Sirdar and guide. He is from eastern Terai of Nepal, Dharan Bazaar (lowland, near the Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve). He is our expert trekking Sirdar and guide specially for Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri round and Langtang region.

 

Sanchita Neupane (Karki)

(Manager & Correspondence)

Mrs Sanchita Neupane (Cheetree) has just joined this agency as a Manager and for correspondence as well as public relations. She is an educated and friendly person and she has a vast knowledge of the tourism industry. She is from the  eastern part of Nepal, Ilam District (Mechi Zone). in which the trekking route of Kanchenjunga is located.

 

Mr. Chintamani Chhetri (Karki)

(Marketting Manager)

Chintamani Chhetri is trekking Marketting manager of our counpany. He is from eastern Terai of Nepal, Dharan Bazaar (lowland, near the Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve). He also do guide people for the region Annapurna BC and Everest Base Camp as well as leading tours around Nepal and India.

 

Dipa Karki (Trekking Officer)

Mrs Dipa Karki is a trekking officer for this agency born in Solu district (Solu Khumbu - Sagarmatha Zone).  She one of the experienced  officers for this agency and has worked with us for 4 years. Most people  who come to this agency for more trips in Nepal will recognize her.

 

 

Ratna Kumar Baniya (Trekking Guide & Sirdar) Ratna is one of our trekking guides and Sirdar. He educated himself working as a home cook for a landlord in Kathmandu before joining the trekking industry. Since the very beginning of this company he has become one of our most popular and well-respected leaders. His vast trekking knowledge and experience includes; Everest region (Khumbu area) Annapurnas, Dolpa, Langtang/Helambu and Kanchanjunga, where he has spent time climbing in the past.

 

Gegar Tamang
(Climbing guide) A qualified mountain guide and successful climber, from Solu district (Khumbu Area). Gegar, has served on several expeditions including Mt. Dhaulagiri and Everest as well as leading  our other trekking-peak climbs. He is one of the most experienced climbers and has been working with us for the last few years.  Those people who come for the expedition trips in Nepal with us, will have a successful trip with him.

Bhim Khadka  
(Trekking Officer)
Bhim Khadka, also from eastern Terai of Nepal, Dharan Bazaar (lowland, near by Koshi Tappu wildlife Reserve). He is a Trekking Administration Officer for “Cultural Treks” but beside this, he also drives our vehicle for the cultural tour and city  trips around Kathmandu valley. You will find him very honest and an expert driver.

Temba Sherpa

(Climbing Guide, Everest Summiter) Temba Sherpa is a Climbing Guide with over 11 years of mountaineering experience in Nepal and Tibet (China).  He is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has led international expeditions to Mt. Shisapangma, Cho Oyu, Everest South & North Col Expedition expeditions as well as climbed many peaks around Nepal such as Ama Dablam, Baruntse, Makalu, Manaslu, Tilicho Peak, Dhaulagiri, Lhotse, and  Trekkings peaks. Temba Sherpa come from Makalu Region and a strong guide in this agency.

Mingma Sherpa (Climbing Guide, Everest Summiter)
Mingma Sherpa is the Climbing Guide with over 9 years of mountaineering experience in Nepal and Tibet (China). He is a very experienced high altitude mountaineer who has led expeditions to Mt. Mahesh Acharya

(Trekking Guide (Sirdar)

A qualified and very experienced trekking guide and sirdar from Sunsari District, Dharan.  Mahesh Acharya has served on several teahouse  Lodge and camping treks in the region of Annapurna, Khumbu Valley, Langtang Helambu and Dolpo area. He is one of our experienced guides and has been working with us for last 7 years. People  who come for the trekking and tours trips in Nepal with us will have a successful trip with him.

 

Beer Kajee Tamang
Climbing Sherpa (Mountaineering Guide)

A qualified mountain guide and successful climber, from Solu district (Khumbu Area). Beer Kajee Tamang has served with several expeditions including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Lhotse , Mt. Everest south col and North col as well as leading  our other trekking-peak climbing. He is one our the experienced climbers and been working with us for 11 years. Mr. Dawa Sherpa  

Climbing Sherpa (Mountaineering Guide)

Qualified mountain guide and successful climber, from Sangkhuwa Sabha district, (Barun Area). Mr Dawa Sherpa has also been on several expeditions including Mt. Everest North Col, South Col, Dhaulagiri, Lhotse and many popular peaks in Nepal. He is one our  experienced climbers and been working with us for 7 years. People will have a successful trip with him. 

Chandra Kumar Tamang
Trekking & Mountaineering Guide & Sirdar

Chandra Kumar Tamang is a very experienced  trekking Cook, Guide and Sirdar from Solu District at Khumbu Region . He is specialist  for Annapurna, Everest Region, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo, Kailash tours at Tibet Mahesh and expeditions to Nepal and Tibet Himalayas as well as doing part time work with Elburus team in Russia. He is one of our most experienced guides and has been working with us for 10 years. People  who  come for trekking, tours  and expedition trips in Nepal will have a successful trip with him and will mostly request us to make him their guide for their next trip in Nepal and Tibet.

Kirta Bahadur Tamang is a genuine, very experienced and honest trekking Guide and Sirdar from Solu District at Khumbu Region . He is a trekking Guide and Sirdar as well as interpreter for our expedition group from Bagmati Zone, Khadi Chour. Autar Tamang, very experienced trekking cook and now has become a tour, trekking guide from Solu District,  He has served on several teahouse  Lodge and camping treks in the region of Annapurna, Khumbu Valley, Langtang Helambu, Dolpo area and  he is also a Tibet Tour guide and specialist. Mr Ram Kumar Rai is a qualified and very experience trekking guide and sirdar from Mamkha  Village development committee, ward no. 9 Okhaldhunga District, Sagarmatha Zone, Nepal.  Ram Kumar has served on several teahouse  Lodge and camping treks in the regions of Annapurna, Khumbu Valley, Langtang Helambu and Dolpo area. Nabaraj Poudel

(Trekking & Tour Guide - Japanese & English Language) A well trained qualified and very experienced Tour Guide for CTE, leading large sized groups on tours as well as experienced in trek guiding. He is from Kaski District, close to Pokhara. Mr.  Poudel  is one of the best and experienced  tour guides with vast knowledge. He has been  working with this company for7 years.

Bhakta Bahadur Rai

(Trekking & Expedition Head Cook)  Bhakta Rai is our very experienced head Cook for Trekking & Expedition in Nepal who comes from eastern part of Nepal from Sagarmata, Diktel district Nepal.  Mr Bhakta Rai has served with many teahouse Lodge and camping treks and expeditions in all  parts of the country and Tibet. He is one of our  best and experienced  cooks and has been working in this company since Culltural Treks & Expedition was established. People who go trekking with Mr Rai just love his wonderful cooking!

Kaji Tamang

(Head Cook )

A well trained qualified and very experienced head Cook for trekking & Expedition in Nepal who comes from eastern part of Nepal from Solu District, Jese.  Mr Kaji Tamang has served on many teahouse Lodge and camping treks and expeditions in all the parts of the country and Tibet. He is one of the  most experienced  Cooks and has worked in this company for9 years. People who come trekking with  him  love the meals he makes.

Pema Tamang

(Trekking Cook)

Pema Tamang is a qualified and very experienced trekking cook from Solu District, Gorakhani Dovan.  Pema has served on many  teahouse  Lodge and camping trek iin the region of Annapurna, Khumbu Valley, Langtang Helambu and Dolpo area. He is one our experienced cooks and been working with us for last 11 Years. People will have a successful trek with him.

Dhan Sing Tamang
(Asistant Cook)

Experience trekking Cook from Solu District, Dovan.  Dhansing has served on many  teahouse Lodge and camping treks in the region of Annapurna, Khumbu Valley, Langtang Helambu and Dolpo area. He is one our experienced cooks and been working with us for the last 10 years

Mr. Tsering Tamang is quilified trekking guide and Sirdar who speaks English, German, Spanish and Hindi. He is from eastern part of Nepal, solu district. He is  very experienced with a vast knowladge of every part of the destination.
